INSTALLATION ORDER FORM Please use this order form (one per locomotive) when shipping locomotives to me for installation work. The form is designed to tailor the installation to your specifications, for your model railroad and for your model railroading operations. Print as many as you need. This form also outlines the MULTI-POINT INSPECTION your locomotive will undergo prior to installation. LOCO INFO SHEETS (All Users) Nothing is more essential to smooth operation and programming within your fleet than good records. I developed the Loco Info Sheet to keep track of CV settings on individual locomotives. The "Notes" section on the back page is an excellent place to keep track of future maintenance and lubrication. I recommend you use pencil so you can make changes, as necessary. If you would like to keep a book for your entire fleet, use versions for 10, 25 and 50 page booklets including a Table of Contents. In any version, you will need to print the front page, then reload the page/s in your printer so you can print the back page on each. A cover is also available. You may also choose to make a custom cover that includes the name of your railroad or your favorite railroad picture/s on it. All pages are designed with a larger margin on the left for binding or 3-hole punching to insert in a notebook. All sheets below are in pdf format. The following is a set of instructions for multi-decoder programming based on use of the Easy DCC system, the system that I both USE and HIGHLY RECOMMEND to all of my customers who have yet to purchase hardware. When installing two decoders, they usually have different manufacturers and therefore have some different CV assignments. Changing a lighting CV on one decoder may change something totally different on the other decoder and have unexpected results. |
